JAY – The Western Mountain Women’s Connection invites area women to join them for a Country Fair and Silent Auction on Tuesday, Oct. 5, at LaFleur’s Restaurant.

Gift bags and baskets will be available for bid. Bidding will begin at 11 a.m. for the luncheon group, with their regular program following from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. For the “After 5” group, bidding will begin at 6 p.m. with the dinner program following from 6:30 to 8.

The speaker will be Evangeline Sawin of Brunswick, who will speak on “Blending Two Families.” Music will be provided by local musicians.

The cost is $11, including tax and gratuity. Those who are unable to keep their reservation should cancel as soon as possible.

The Connection is sponsored by Stonecroft Ministries, an international, interchurch organization having no membership or dues. They have been meeting in Jay since April. Women attend from the Rumford, Farmington and Livermore Falls area.
