FARMINGTON – Anyone who is grieving the death of a child or grandchild is welcome to attend the Bereaved Parents’ Support Group at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

The next meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, in the Fly Rod Crosby Room of the Ben Franklin Education Center.

Community lunch

FARMINGTON – The Old South First Congregational Church, 235 Main St., will offer its first monthly community luncheon of the season from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9. The menu will include a New England boiled dinner and apple crisp. The meal is free and all are welcome.
