SKOWHEGAN – The wedding of Jolene Lane and Jason Thibodeau was held at 3 p.m. on Sept. 4 at Coburn Park in Skowhegan. Shannon Tingley officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Sandra Lane of Embden. The bridegroom is the son of Kim Thibodeau and Ellis Smedberg of Anson and Marc and Marie Thibodeau of Acton.

The bride wore an ivory gown and carried a bouquet of orchids, Calla lilies, Asian lilies and lisanthus.

Nicole Peary was maid of honor for her best friend and bridesmaids were Courtney Church, cousin and friend of the bride, and Miranda Morrill, little sister of the bride. Shaneil Thibodeau, sister of the bridegroom, was junior bridesmaid.

Glenwood Farmer, grandfather of the bridegroom, served as best man and ushers were Randy and Anthony Thibodeau, brothers of the bridegroom. James Nelson, nephew of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer.

A reception followed at the PACE Hall in Skowhegan, after which the couple traveled to Portland, Old Orchard Beach and Portsmouth, N.H. They are residing in Embden.

The bride is a graduate of Carrabec High School and is employed in the accounting office at Wal-Mart in Skowhegan.

The bridegroom is also a graduate of Carrabec High School and is employed at VIP in Skowhegan.
