Linda Petrie will make a fine representative for the people of District 93. She is thoughtful, energetic and knows the communities of Mexico, Dixfield, Peru, Canton and Carthage well.

As a teacher for 38 years, she knows education issues firsthand and will be a tremendous asset to the Legislature.

Her husband, Bill, worked in the mill for his entire career, and Linda is well-acquainted with the important issues that face Maine workers daily.

She volunteers with seniors in Mexico and will be a voice for their needs in Augusta.

To sum it up, Linda Petrie represents the people of the area, and there could not be a better person to represent this district.

I will be voting for Linda Petrie on Nov. 2.
