LEWISTON – Evelyn Louise Leet, 75, of Wentzell Road, Litchfield, died Thursday, Oct. 28, at d’Youville Pavilion, with her family at her bedside.

Born in Webster, Feb. 6, 1929, she was the daughter of George and Florence (Brown) Polley.

On June 15, 1950, she married Roger W. Leet and together they settled down to raise their family. She worked for Ripley Industries, retiring in 1991.

She enjoyed her time in the kitchen cooking and baking for her family and spending precious time with her grandchildren.

She, along with her friends, Betty Brooks, Betty Polley and Jackie Morin, enjoyed horse racing and playing beano together.

Survivors include her daughter, Irene Joyce Turcotte, of Freeman; her son, Jerry R. Leet and his wife, Lori, of Litchfield; five grandchildren, Keith and Lisa Turcotte, Alison Leet Buckley, Heather Leet and Amanda Leet Bell; eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Dorothy Wentzell; and brothers, Donald, Ralph, Charles, Ray and Leroy Polley.

He was predeceased by her husband, Roger in 1991, and brothers, George and Alton Polley and John Perkins.
