GLEN ALPINE, N.C. – Shirley Pearl Messer of Glen Alpine, N.C., died Oct. 26, in North Carolina.

Born on Aug. 24, 1942, the daughter of the late Robert Michaud and Adrienne Lamontagne Cox of Cocoa, Fla., she was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses attending the Morganton N.C. English Congregation.

Survivors include her husband, LeRoy E. Messer, of Glen Alpine, N.C.; sons and their families, Mark L. Messer and wife, Christina, of Lewiston and their three children, Nicholas, Lucas and Miranda, with her three children, Caroline, Kaylee and Teana and Timothy L. Messer and wife, Laura, of Glen Alpine, N.C., and Tim’s two children, Leroy T. Messer and Elisabeth A. Messer; stepsons, Howard Wayne Henry and his children, Jennifer, Collin, Dylan and Lauren and James Daniel Henry and his children, Garreth and Gwyneth; sister and brother-in-law, Rana and Ronald Roberts, of Cocoa, Fla.; and aunt, Antoinette Demers, of Auburn.
