LEWISTON – Jeanne P. Pulsifer, 75, of Mechanic Falls died Thursday, Oct. 28, at d’Youville Pavilion after a short illness.
Born in Winthrop July 18, 1929, the daughter of Antonio and Angelina (Vaillencour) Philippon. She was a graduate of Edward Little High School class of 1948. She was the wife of Roy C.A. Pulsifer who died in 1977.
She worked for many years at area restaurants including the Village Inn and the former Goodwin’s Ice Cream in Auburn prior to her retirement. She loved working on crafts of all types, she also loved to knit mittens and hats and then donate to area non-profit organizations including Head Start.
She was an active member and former treasurer of the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 150 of Mechanic Falls.
She is survived by one son, John C. Pulsifer, of Mechanic Falls; three daughters, Susan Thompson, of Fryeburg and her daughter, Angie, and son, Jamie, Laura and her husband, Ronald Roy, of Wilson, Wyo., and Heidi and her husband, Jay Brown, of Minot, and their two sons, David and Brian, and their, daughter, Hali; one brother, Joseph Philippon, of Lewiston; one sister, Antoinette Dionne and her husband, Philip, of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, and a sister, Laurette Chouinard.
