RUMFORD – St. Timothy Circle 504, Daughters of Isabella, will hold the annual Christmas party, followed by a regular meeting, at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, at Teena’s Restaurant. The price will be $13. A $5 donation will be given to the Daughters of Isabella instead of exchanging gifts. The dues for 2005 will be $15.

The committee members are Adelia Curato, Jennie Curato, Marie Boudreau, Lorraine Briere, Janet Beaudet, Mary Beauchesne, Adeline Richard, Mary Buccina, Evelyn Tate, Jeannette Brown, Marjorie Brown and Priscilla Marquis.

Lunch/learn

RUMFORD – SeniorsPlus will hold a Lunch and Learn Monday, Dec. 6, at the dining center, 50 Congress St. Beginning at 10:30 a.m. Christmas cards will be made. There will be no cost for the first card; $1 for each additional card.

Lunch will follow with Kim cooking homemade chicken pie with biscuits, lemon dilled carrots, cranberry sauce, coffee, tea or milk and a whoopie pie. A donation of $2.50 for those 60 and over, their spouses, disabled and volunteers; $4 for those under 60. For more information or to make dinner reservations call Kim at 364-3572.

Class lunch

MEXICO – The Stephens High School class of 1952 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, for a luncheon at the Coop. All class members are welcome to attend.

Gift exchange

RUMFORD – Members of the Stephens High School class of 1949 will gather for a luncheon at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the Island Cafe. People should bring a wrapped Christmas tree ornament for exchange and wear the new reunion sweatshirt.

Gear Up event

DIXFIELD – T.W. Kelly Dirigo Middle School Gear Up program invites residents to join them in an evening of celebration from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, at the middle school. Refreshments will be served. The event is being sponsored by Gear Up, Access 21st Century Community Learning Centers and SAD 21 mentoring program.
