BRIDGTON – The Lake Region Healthy Communities Coalition will meet at noon Tuesday, Dec. 7, at the Bridgton Community Center, Depot Street. There will be open discussion on how the coalition can assist communities and sustainability of the coalition.
The board of directors will meet at 10:30 a.m. at the center.
The coalition is open to everyone in and around the Lakes Region. Visitors and new members are welcome. Lunch is provided; a $3 donation is suggested.

Knitting guild
PARIS – The monthly meeting of Western Maine Knitting Guild will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Dec. 7, at the First Congregational Church, South Paris. Outreach project items are due at the meeting.
Members should bring a wrapped knitting pattern for the Christmas gift exchange. For more information, call 743-7677.
