LEWISTON – Wayne R. Gotto, 51, of Sumner, died Friday, Dec. 17, at Central Maine Medical Center.
He was born in Cambridge, Mass., on Dec. 11, 1953, the son of Fredric and Shirley Marks Gotto.
He graduated high school in Revere, Mass. and had been employed as a truck driver for Geriatric Medical Supply until retiring due to ill health.
He loved the outdoors, fishing, gardening and his chickens.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Darlene Marrone, of Sumner; his children, Gina, Ashley, Brooke, Dennis Marrone and Ashley Boulanger; his mother, Shirley Gotto; brothers and sisters, John and Sandra, Dennis and Joni, Geraldine and Nick Simonelli, and Kevin and Diane; his mother-in-law, Pearl Paradis; brother and sister-in-laws; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Fredric Gotto.
