TORONTO (AP) – Donyell Marshall scored 12 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter and the Toronto Raptors beat the Utah Jazz 98-86 on Wednesday night.

Chris Bosh added 18 points for the Raptors, who are 2-2 since trading Vince Carter to New Jersey last Friday.

Jalen Rose, dropped from Toronto’s starting lineup, made five of his first six shots and finished with 12 points. Newly acquired Eric Williams had 11 points, eight rebounds and five assists in his first game as a Raptors starter in place of Rose.

Rose has struggled since his name came up in trade talks a month ago. He said he saw himself as just a throw-in in a possible trade of Carter. The 10-year veteran has looked disinterested while scoring just four points in two recent games.

Carlos Boozer had 29 points and 10 rebounds for the Jazz, who went 1-4 on their road trip.

Utah cut Toronto’s lead to four with five minutes left, but Marshall made a 3-pointer, and Bosh added a jumper to make it a nine-point lead.

Raja Bell followed with a 3-pointer, but Marshall and Morris Peterson made consecutive 3-pointers to give Toronto a 10-point lead with 1:41 remaining.

Marshall’s added two free throws made with 30 seconds left to push the advantage to 12 points.

The Raptors led by as many as 16 in the third quarter, but Boozer had 12 points as Utah cut the deficit to four by the end of the period.

Notes: Utah starting center Aleksander Radojevic committed three turnovers in the first three possessions. … Radojevic, Toronto’s 12th pick in the 1999 draft, played just three games in two seasons for the Raptors. … The Raptors also beat the Jazz on Nov. 10.
