FARMINGTON – Thomas Lincoln Nichols, 73, a resident of Maple Lane, Livermore, died Saturday, Dec. 25, at Franklin Memorial Hospital, in Farmington.

He was born Dec. 22, 1931, in Skowhegan, the son of Thomas Leroy and Ethelyn (Mills) Nichols.

In 1939, he and his family moved to a farm along the Androscoggin River in Livermore.

He graduated from Livermore Falls High School in 1949. He worked on the dairy farm with his family, taking charge in 1967 when his parents retired, Thomas continued until his own retirement in 2000.

He was a member of the Maine Farm Bureau and enjoyed being a home body.

He is survived by his mother, Ethelyn, of Livermore; and four cousins, Bertha N. McClure of Greensboro, N.C., Lorraine N. Bace of Summit, N.J.; Anne Nichols and Herbert Nichols, both of Westfield, N.J.

He was predeceased by his father in 1968.
