CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – Police say they haven’t decided yet whether to charge anyone in an accidental shooting on Christmas Day.

Police haven’t released many details, but say a bullet grazed the head of Eric Prescott, 36, who was sleeping in his apartment that afternoon.

The bullet came through the wall of his apartment, then went through a window and hit another building across the street.

The man was treated and released from Concord Hospital.

Another resident of Prescott’s building, James Cotton, 50, called the police at 2:46 p.m. to report he accidentally fired his .44-caliber handgun, police said.
