LEWISTON – Geraldine Griffin Irish, 90, of Irish Rd., Turner, passed away peacefully of natural causes, Sunday, Jan. 2, at Montello Manor, with her family by her side.

She was born in Turner, on June 12, 1914, the daughter of Arthur and Clara Haskell Griffin.

Geraldine graduated from Leavitt Institute, the class of 1932. She married Alvin Emery Irish, on Nov. 18, 1933. Her hobbies were gardening, knitting, and watching all sports on television.

She is survived by sons, Donald Irish, and his wife Dorothy, and Stephen Irish, all of Turner, Brian Irish, and wife Sandra, of Florida; a daughter, Daphne Ward, and her husband Paul, of Turner; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Geraldine was predeceased by her husband, and granddaughter, Diana Ward DiPippo.
