LEWISTON – Two employees of Janvier Smith’s State Farm Insurance agency have recently passed their property-casualty and life-health state license examinations on their first attempt, and both completed State Farm’s extensive learning and development program.

Kirstin Goodrich and Steven Cobb are now authorized to bind coverage on homeowners, renters, auto, commercial, life and health insurance policies.

Goodrich, a 2004 cum laude graduate of the University of New Hampshire, is learning the insurance business, and plans to make it her career. She has also recently been appointed a notary public of the State of Maine.

Steven Cobb, a Lewiston-Auburn area native, attended Quinnipiac College in Connecticut and the University of Southern Maine.

He gained experience in the insurance industry before coming to State Farm, and has completed all the requirements to become a notary public. Steve is active in the community, belonging to Lions International, is Past Master of Cumberland Masonic Lodge No. 12, High Priest of Boaz Royal Arch Chapter No. 72, and member of Dunlap Council No.8.
