PARIS – Oxford Hills Adult Education announces the following classes during January:

Thursday, Jan. 13: Substitute Teacher Training.

Tuesday, Jan. 18: Camera Club, Certified Nursing Assistant, Computer Literacy, English and Reading, English Learning Lab, English Review, Film and Short Story, GED Preparation, Math I, Telescope Observatory, U.S. History.

Wednesday, Jan. 19: Biology, Chairseating, English III, GED Preparation and Testing, High Pressure Boiler Operator, Math I, Math Lab, Microsoft Office, Parenting, U.S. History.

The Certified Nursing Assistant Course still has a few openings. The course includes 92 hours of classroom instruction and 88 hours of clinical practice at Stephens Memorial Hospital and local nursing homes. The course meets from 4 to 7 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, starting in late January, and will be completed in early May. Instructors will be Marcia Campbell, RN, Lee Berry, RN, and Henry Raymond, RN.

Participants must have a high school diploma or GED, must be able to pass a basic reading test and will need to submit to a background check.
