• Jan. 9 – A 1998 Toyota sport utility vehicle being backed out of a driveway on Linnel Street by Nicholas Perry, 19, of Rumford, struck a 2003 Mercury Sable operated by Aaron Arsenault, 17, of Hanover.

There were no injuries. Damage to the Mercury was estimated at $1,100; to the SUV, none.

• Jan. 7, 8:28 a.m. – A Pine Street resident reported that someone had damaged a window by shooting a BB at it, causing an estimated $150 in damage.

Police believe the incident occurred sometime during the night of Jan. 4.

• Jan. 7, 6:40 a.m. – Bobbie Jo Holmquist, 26, of Rumford, suffered minor injuries when the 1994 Ford Escort she was driving on Route 108 slid on black ice and went off the road.

She was taken to Rumford Hospital.

The Ford sustained an estimated $50 damage.

• Jan. 4, 8:20 p.m. – Someone threw a brick at a truck on Maine Avenue, doing an estimated $100 damage.

• Jan. 4, 5:46 p.m. – A Pine Street resident reported that someone had damaged the front window of her home by shooting a BB at it, causing an estimated $200 damage.

Arrests

All of the following are to be arraigned on March. 1 in Rumford District Court:

• Edward Secotte, 40, of Rumford, on a charge of terrorizing, at 6:54 p.m. Jan. 7 on Waldo Street. He was taken to Oxford County jail in Paris.

• Darren Costa, 39, of Rumford, on an Oxford County arrest warrant for probation revocation, at 2:50 p.m. on Jan. 7. He was transported to Oxford County Jail in Paris.

• Zachary L. Fritz, 22, of West Bethel, on a charge of operating after suspension, habitual offender status, at 10:10 a.m. on Jan. 5 on River Street. He was released on $500 unsecured bail.

• Arthur S. Murphy, 57, of Milton, Mass., on a charge of operating under the influence, at 1:20 a.m. on Jan. 5 on Route 2. He was released on $500 cash bail.

Summonses

• Peter Grasruck, 38, of Rumford, on a charge of operating after suspension, on Jan. 5 on Prospect Avenue. He is to be arraigned on March 1 in Rumford District Court.
