NORWAY – Madeline H. Barker, 86, of Norway, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.
She was born at Mason Township, Oct. 13, 1918, the daughter of John A. and Ethel G. Judkins McKenzie. She attended schools in Mason Township.
She had been a home maternity nurse for several years. She later worked at Newton Tibbetts Dowel Mill for nine years and then at Miller Shoe for ten years.
She enjoyed knitting, flowers and plants.
She is survived by two daughters, Florence Walker of Bethel, and Jolene Barker of Denmark; a son, George Westleigh Jr. of Bethel; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Linwood Westleigh, and a sister, Cora Starbird.
