LISBON – A driver and his passenger were hurt in a two-car crash on Route 125 Thursday night.
Officer Jason St. Pierre said a 17-year-old boy, whose identity is not being released because of possible charges, was driving north on Route 125 and attempting to pass two vehicles. His car started “fishtailing,” crossed the highway and struck an approaching vehicle operated by Gerald Kamke, 58, of 53 Andrea St., St. Pierre said.
The teenage driver was thrown from his car. He told police he was not hurt, but he was taken to Central Maine Medical Center to be checked.
Kamke complained of neck and shoulder pain and his wife, Rae, 53, complained of neck pain, and were transported to CMMC.
Both the youth’s 1995 Mazda and Kamke’s 1986 Saab were demolished, police said.
