LEWISTON – Wednesday, Jan. 26, will mark the 13th Maine Senior’s Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ramada Conference Center, 490 Pleasant St. Admission is free. Exhibitors and attendees come from all over the southern and central Maine.
Exhibitors include financial planning, banking, health care, medical services, senior living options, real estate, travel and tourism and senior community services. Live musical entertainment will be provided by the Port City Jazz Band and crooner Bob Gerathy and his “invisible orchestra.”
The Maine State Treasury’s Abandoned Property Division will be there to help match up Mainers with lost, forgotten or abandoned property, bank accounts and insurance settlements. Central Maine Orthopedics’ Dr. Ingrid Ericsson will offer free osteoporosis bone density screenings. CMMC will provide free blood pressure tests.
Dignitaries will include State Treasurer David Lamoine, Lewiston Mayor Lionel Guay Jr. and Auburn Mayor Norman Guay. WLAM broadcasters Bud Sawyer and Connie Cote will be on hand as will Dave and Michelle, morning hosts for WTHT.
