AUBURN – Police continue to seek witnesses to a Saturday afternoon hit and run accident that injured an elderly man.

According to Lt. Rick Coron, a woman driving a white vehicle was involved in the incident, which happened about 1:50 p.m. while the man was walking to his mailbox on Park Avenue.

Coron wouldn’t release the injured man’s name, but said he was taken a Lewiston hospital complaining of injuries to his leg.
