AUBURN – Auburn Youth Hockey Peewee Travelers earned 2 wins and a tie in weekend action. Matt Cote netted 2 goals to power Auburn to a 4-2 victory over Bangor. Kolby Arnold and Jordan Haskell also lit the lamp. Assists went to Mat Gordon (2) and Tim Millett. Goalie Cody Violette made 16 saves. . . Auburn and the Lewiston Junior Maineiacs skated to a 3-3 tie as Violette stopped 11 shots. Scoring the goals were Arnold, Haskell and Dylan Nadeau. Credited with assists were Gordon (2), Matt Cote and Millett. Eric Morin scored 2 goals for the Maineiacs. Michael St. Denis tallied a goal and 2 assists. Neil Burgess also drew an assist. Goalie Matthew Ouellette made 15 saves. . . Auburn finished the weekend with a 10-2 win over the Gorham Huskies. Nadeau registered a hat trick. Cote and Arnold added 2 goals each. Brenden Giambra, Cody S. Russell and Millett netted a goal apiece. Adding assists were Nadeau (4), Cote, Arnold, Giambra (2), Cody S. Russell (2), Gordon (3) and Cody D. Russell. Winning goalie Violette stopped 9 shots.
