AUBURN – The Small Business Institute at Central Maine Community College is offering Starting a Business (SBI 022-21), a workshop for small business owners and prospective small business owners, from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 10 and 17. The cost of the six-hour workshop is $95.
The seminar addresses a multitude of elements related to being your own boss. Participants will learn about the various types of business ownership and the essential things to think about when considering whether to be in business. Financial consultant Van Perry will present the workshop.
The Small Business Institute is a program of the Corporate and Community Services Department of Central Maine Community College and the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce. It is designed to provide convenient, efficient programming for small businesses in the community.
