SOUTH PORTLAND – Richard Rendall of Bankers Life and Casualty Co. has been awarded a professional designation in the field of long-term care.

The recognition, Certified in Long-Term Care, represents Rendall’s completion of a program that teaches practitioners in the fields of financial planning, tax law, home care, government funding and elder law as it relates to a client’s long-term care needs. The program is independent of the insurance industry.
