AUBURN – Brew Crew moved into sole possession of the sunberth in the Auburn Rec Men’s Slowdown Basketball League this week. Joe Harris tossed in 26 points (including five 3-pointers) and Matt Sellinger added 9 points, as the Crew defeated West Shore 64-51. Peter Casey led the Westies with 12. Bob Bowie added 9.

L-A Dox slipped out of a tie for first place with a 55-45 loss to the L-A Orphans. Wes Clark powered the Orphans with 15 points. Matt Derocher added 10. Verne Paradie scored 16 for Dox. David Baker was next with 9.

Dave Ferrao collected 20 and Chris Randall added 14 as Scott Thayer Auto rolled past Sunryse Productions 70-40. Randy Jackson paced Sunryse with 22. Thomas Perkins added 8.

Rocky Mountain Oysters won by forfeit over Fitness World.
