AUBURN – Bryant Pond artist Arla Patch will present her work at an open session of Central Maine Community College’s course, “Approaches to Art,” at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, in room 201 of Jalbert Hall. The session is free and open to the public.

Patch is an artist, educator and facilitator of healing. For more than 30 years, she has made art and taught others to find the artist within themselves. Through her program, “Explorations,” she offers classes for all ages. She also has a practice called “Second Skin,” in which she works with individuals using the transforming power of body casting.

Patch will show slides of her life’s artwork as well as the DVD she made of her recent book, “A Body Story.” Those wanting more information can call the college at 755-5100.
