BETHEL – Witches, war and intrigue among Scottish royalty are featured in Gould Academy’s upcoming production of “Macbeth.” The play will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 18 and 19, in Bingham Auditorium on Church Street.
William Shakespeare’s famous tragedy follows the bloody rise and fall of Macbeth from the rank of general to his rule as king of Scotland, and his eventual murder. The play explores the themes of unchecked power, conscience and the supernatural.
The play is open to the public free of charge.
