BOSTON (AP) – The Boston Celtics activated rookie forward Justin Reed from the injured list on Monday.
Reed, a second-round draft pick, was placed on the injured list on Feb. 16 with right knee soreness. The 6-foot-8, 240-pound Reed is averaging 1.9 points in 3.4 minutes per game in 10 appearances.
The Celtics selected Reed with the 40th overall pick in the June draft. He played at Mississippi, where he averaged 18.5 points.
and 7.5 rebounds per game last season and was named to the All-SEC first team.
