TURNER – Pastor Nate Colson of the Turner Village Church is spearheading a three-step harvest dinner to start with the giveaway of seeds on Sunday, March 6.

Step one will be the free distribution of vegetable seeds that should be started indoors, such as tomatoes, celery and onions.

Those wishing can drop by the church on Sunday and pick up the seeds. Everyone is invited to attend the Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. or drop by from noon to 1 p.m. to get the seeds.

The second step will be another free distribution of vegetable seeds on Sunday, May 29, at the same time.

The third and final step will be sharing a harvest meal together as a community. Those participating can cook a dish using the vegetables and take it to the Turner Village Church on Sunday, Oct. 9, to celebrate the Columbus Day Harvest Dinner.

All are invited to participate in the community dinner free.
