CARRABASSETT VALLEY – Liz Thompson, a senior from Rangeley who attends Carrabassett Valley Academy, added another championship captured several championships this past weekend at the Eastern Championships at Sugarloaf/USA.

Thompson, competing against the top J1, J2 and Seniors in the East, won the overall women’s title, the combined events, and slalom race.

Thompson has won five U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association races and finished in the top 10 at six FIS races.
