RUMFORD – Pre-kindergarten through grade 12 students from SAD 43 will show their work at Pennacook Art Center in honor of Youth Art Month.
The show will open Friday, March 11, with a reception from 4 to 7 p.m. The Moontide Festival Committee will provide refreshments for the reception. The exhibit will be located in the “garage” area of Scrappers Domaine and will be open until Friday, March 25.
Pennacook Art Center is located at 82 Congress St. It is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. For more information, call 364-9972.
Quilters to meet
RUMFORD – Rumford Area Quilters will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 14, at the Rumford United Methodist Church, Linnell Street. All area quilters are welcome at the monthly gatherings to share quilting stories, projects, show and tell and a cup of tea. Demonstrations are often planned.
If there is no school due to inclement weather, there will be no meeting.
