A slew of municipal and school board meetings and other events scheduled throughout the River Valley have been postponed because of the foul weather on Tuesday and Wednesday.
A workshop sponsored by the Western Mountains Alliance aimed at helping farmers sell their products, previously set for Wednesday, has been postponed until 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, at the River Valley Technology Center.
Also from Wednesday, Dixfield’s combined Finance Committee and River Valley Growth Council meeting, and a selectmen’s budget workshop were canceled. The meetings will be rescheduled.
Also in Dixfield, a Promising Futures career round-table event for Dirigo High School seniors has been postponed until 12:45 p.m. Friday, March 18, at the high school. The Dirigo High School Sports Banquet, originally set for Tuesday, then for Wednesday, has been rescheduled once again for 5:30 p.m. today.
Wednesday’s Mexico selectmen’s meeting has been postponed until 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
SAD 43’s Personnel Committee and Board of Directors meetings have been rescheduled from this past Tuesday to next Tuesday, March 15, at Mountain Valley High School. The committee meets at 5:45 p.m., followed by the board meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Peru’s comprehensive plan public hearing has been rescheduled for 6:30 p.m. today at Peru Elementary School.
And in Bethel, the Fire Protection Committee, originally set to meet on Tuesday, has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, at the fire station.
