LEWISTON – Therese A. Gagne, 80, of 102 Campus Ave., formerly of 143 Madison St., Auburn, died Sunday, March 20, at Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion.
She was born in Chisholm, June 19, 1924, the daughter of Peter E. and Celestine Castonguay Fournier. She was educated in Mexico schools and was married July 28, 1947, to William R. Gagne Jr., who predeceased her Nov. 24, 1993.
She was a housewife and a member of the Auburn Catholic community at Sacred Heart Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline Heinitz and her husband, David, of Oak Harbor, Wash., and Lucille Jordan, of Auburn; three sons, Ronald Gagne of Auburn, Wash., Robert Gagne and his wife, Kerry, of Lynwood, Wash., and Michel Gagne of Lewiston; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Priscilla Bilodeau of Massachusetts and Juliette Simard of Auburn; and a brother, Roger Fournier of Auburn.
She will be sadly missed by her family, especially her brother, Roger.
