LISBON FALLS – The Burnt Meadow Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, announce the students selected as Good Citizenship Medal winners from two area high schools.

Lisbon High School’s medal recipient is Candice Avery. She is a member of the National Honor Society and is active in Student Government, the Interact Club and school sports. Her plans are to attend college and become an elementary teacher.

Oak Hill High School’s recipient is Ashley Malinowski. Also a National Honor Society member, Malinowski is editor of the school literary magazine, “Bridges,” and is active in soccer, basketball and softball.

She was accepted to sing in the District 3 Music Festival and sang with the Oak Hill High School Voices of Color at Carnegie Hall in New York City with the National Women’s Choir. She plans to attend college and major in wildlife biology.
