PARIS – Lisa Martin and Lacey Oliver hosted a fund-raiser at the South Paris Legion Hall on Jan. 29 to benefit the American Red Cross local disaster relief fund and the Red Cross International Response Fund to provide relief for tsunami victims.
To the sounds of the Turner Brothers, former members of the Lucky Mutt and Traylah Trash, more than $635 was raised to benefit the two relief efforts.
Dinner centered on the best mac and cheese contest, with more than 21 dishes submitted. Pam Heikkinen took first place for her dish.
A 50/50 drawing and raffles were also held.
