NEW YORK (AP) – Bloomsbury, publisher of “New Beginnings,” says it will donate about $9 of the book’s $9.95 selling price to the Save the Children’s Tsunami Relief Campaign. The paperback book features first chapters and excerpts from upcoming and unpublished books by several prominent authors, including Stephen King, Joanna Trollope, Scott Turow and Maeve Binchy. Among the book’s offerings are the opening pages of King’s “Lisey’s Story,” the tentative title of a work not yet scheduled for publication.

The amount of money raised will be posted at www.bloomsburyusa.com/tsunami beginning in May.
