Unless otherwise noted, all of the following are to be arraigned on May 3 in Rumford District Court:

• Dennis M. Deabler, 26, of Dixfield, on two counts of assault on a police officer, refusal to submit to arrest, operating after suspension (habitual offender status), and a Kennebec County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of theft, 3 a.m. March 22 on Waldo Street. He failed to post either $1,500 cash or $40,000 surety bail on the new charges, and was taken to Oxford County jail in Paris.

• Timothy A. Jacques, 19, of Rumford, on a charge of illegal attachment of plates, 5:45 a.m. March 21 on Route 2. He was released on $200 unsecured bail.

• Carolyn Brown Bennett, 41, of Rumford, on a charge of furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol, 5:46 p.m. March 19 on Falmouth Street. She was released on $200 unsecured bail.

• Russell L. Copp, 24, of Livermore, on multiple Androscoggin County warrants, at 11:59 a.m. March 19 on Essex Avenue. He was taken to Oxford County jail.

• A 17-year-old Rumford boy, on charges of operating under the influence and operating after suspension, 5:21 a.m. March 19 on Penobscot Street. He was released on $200 unsecured bail. He is to be arraigned May 24 in Rumford District Court.

• Josh J. McLean, 18, of Rumford, on charges of operating without a license and violation of conditions of release, 9:05 a.m. March 18 on Cumberland Street. He was taken to Oxford County jail.

• Norman Johnson, 34, of Rumford, on an Androscoggin County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of operating after suspension, 10:40 p.m. March 17 on Franklin Street. He was taken to Oxford County jail.

• Jodi L. Anson, 21, of Rumford, on a warrant for failure to appear on an underlying charge of failure to pay fines, 6 p.m. March 15. She was released on $150 cash bail.

Dixfield
Incidents

• March 16, 3:30 p.m. – A Weld Street apartment resident reported being struck on March 15 in a hit-and-run incident while she was walking in a parking area. The driver of a light blue car of unknown make reportedly struck the woman’s arm, which was giving her problems a day later.

• March 15, 2 p.m. – A resident of Sara Pepper Apartments on North Street reported that someone had broken into his home over the weekend while he was away. An estimated $600 worth of DVDs was stolen, along with PlayStation games. A door was also damaged.
