AUBURN – Auburn Adult Education is offering “Getting Started on Your Book,” “Watercolor” and “Oil Painting Wet on Wet Technique” with artist instructor Barbara Hathaway, Painter of Sunsets from Wilton.

“Getting Started on Your Book” will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. starting Monday, April 4, for six weeks. Students will learn to organize their ideas to form a story that could be printed. Ideas could include fiction, recipe book, journal and poetry.

“Watercolor” will begin Tuesday, April 5, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and run for eight weeks. Students from amateur to intermediate skill levels will learn basic color, composition and techniques to mat and frame the completed painting.
