JAY – Dolores Genthner, 61, a resident of Elm Street in Jay, died following a long illness Saturday, April 9, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Farmington, on April 19, 1943, the daughter of Antonio “Babe” and Fernande Lepage Pelletier. She attended schools in Livermore Falls.

She worked as a CNA at Pomeroy Hill Nursing Home in Livermore Falls.

She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay.

She enjoyed playing bingo, cards and putting puzzles together in her spare time. She also loved to work in her flower garden.

She is survived by her mother of North Jay; two daughters, Chrisanna Cummings of Livermore Falls and Charlotte Lee of Jay; two sons, Cash Whittemore of New Hampshire and Kevin Whittemore of Livermore Falls; six sisters, Lorraine Gray of Livermore Falls, Jackie Furst of North Jay, Bernice Pelletier of North Jay, Jeanine Moody of Livermore Falls, Annette Moody of Winthrop and Connie Lawson of North Jay; three brothers, Lionel Pelletier of Livermore Falls, Norman Pelletier of Livermore Falls and Adrien Pelletier, also of Livermore Falls; 15 grandchildren, Katie, Kasey, Keith and Khyle Whittemore, Jenika Kelley, Jonathan Butman, Dawn and Adam Lee, Cashlin and Dillen Bronish, Chelsea Cummings, Carissa Whittemore, Kyle, Kareal and Joey Lewis; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Vivian Pelletier.
