LEWISTON – Lucille B. Theriault, 76, of Foch Street, Auburn, died Sunday, April 17, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness.

She was born in Lewiston, Oct. 11, 1928, the daughter of Xavier and Hermelia (Gagne) Bonin. She lived her entire life in this community.

On Oct. 6, 1951, she married Robert G. Theriault, who survives her of Auburn.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, a member of V.F.W. Auxilary Post 1603 of Auburn, New Auburn Social Club and The Golden Age Club.

She was an avid knitter, and chocolate-maker, and loved to sew for her grandchildren.

Beside her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Claire and husband, Carlton Hebert, of Auburn, and Celine Theriault of Auburn; four sons, Roger of Windham, Daniel and wife, Kelly, of Auburn, John of Lewiston, and Peter of Minot; one aunt, Lucille Samson of Lewiston; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She predeceased by one daughter, Debra Ann, in December 1988, and by one son, Ronald, in June of 2000; and by eight sisters and seven brothers.
