AUBURN – Yvette S. Lauze, 89, a resident of 51 Rosedale St., Lewiston, died Saturday evening, April 30, at Clover Manor following a long illness.

She was born in Auburn, June 19, 1915, the daughter of Treffle and Anna Marie (Fournier) Simard. She was a member of Holy Cross Church, and a former member of the Ladies of St. Anne of Holy Cross Parish.

Survivors include her husband, Bertrand, whom she married June 19, 1939, of Lewiston; one son, Roland Lauze and his wife, Constance, of Lovell; five daughters, Marguerite Kramer and her husband, Frederick, of Port Orange, Fla., Antoinette Palmer and her husband, Stephen, of Milford, N.H., Bernadette Wailus and her husband, Robert, of Lewiston, Glorianne Defosse and her husband, Lionel, of Coventry, R.I., and Elizabeth Pelletier and her husband, Roger, of Bowdoinham; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
