LEWISTON – Marlene Corrine Dyer, 68, went home to be with God and her husband, on Thursday, May 5. She went peacefully in her sleep with her loving family by her side.

She was born on July 20, 1936, and grew up in Skowhegan and moved to Lewiston in 1958. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, and friend to many.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, and bargain hunting. Recently, her greatest joy was spending time with her great-grandchildren and her dog, “Little Bit.”

She is survived by her children, Sara Therriault and Ken of Lewiston, Bill and Pat Dyer of Mechanic Falls, Vickie Dunning and David of Old Orchard Beach, Alice and Dean Conway of Auburn, and Fred D. Dyer of Lewiston; grandchildren, Rick and Courtney Dyer of Webster, N.Y., Amanda and Aaron Ouellette of Mechanic Falls, Lindsey Beth Dyer of Washburn, Ian McLean and Becca of Litchfield, N.H., and Richard C-A Conway of Auburn; great-grandchildren, Isaac and Cole Ouellettte, and Caleb and Ruby Dyer; sisters, Joan Wickham of Windham, Shirley McIntosh of Farmingdale, and Sandra Goodell of Cornville; sister-in-law, Katie and Larry Poulin of Norridgewock; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Fred C. Dyer; parents, Mabel (Lessor) and Frederick Sincyr; and siblings, Linda Archer and Roland Sincyr.
