FARMINGTON – Eldora Thomas Durrell, 77, of Middle Street, died early Saturday morning, May 7, at her home.

She was born in Blaine, April 19, 1928, a daughter of Helen and Gordon Thomas and received her education in local schools.

On Oct. 26, 1946, she married Loren W. Durrell in Farmington.

She was a homemaker and she enjoyed traveling and looking for moose and deer.

She is survived by her husband, Loren, of Farmington; seven children, Glenn Durrell Sr. and his wife, Gloria, of Farmington, Darlene Sterry and her husband, Robin, of Farmington, Gerald “Jerry” Durrell and his fiance, Wendy, of New Sharon, Cecil Durrell and his wife, Loree, of Farmington, “Duke” Durrell and his wife, Lorraine, of Farmington, Sandra Coburn and her husband, Mike, of Sabattus, and Elaine Whelpley and her husband, Mike, of Farmington; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Iva Lake of Farmington, and Goldena Small of New Hampshire; and one brother, Bernard Thomas of Farmington.

She was predeceased by two infant children; two sisters, Glenna Compton and Edna Collins; and a brother, Fred Thomas.
