AUBURN – The second phase of the Community Harvest Feast in Turner has expanded to Lewiston and Auburn. Vegetable seeds will be given at three locations until 1 p.m. Sunday, May 22.

Pastor Nate Colson of the Turner Village Church spearheaded the program, and now Pastor Ronald Murch of the Auburn Advent Christian Church and Dan Gosselin, president of the Good News Chapel of Lewiston, are working with Colson and Maine’s Worldwide Missions Outreach Inc. Director Paul R. Bernard on the second phase of the dinner to be held in October.

Everyone is invited to attend the Sunday morning services at any of the locations or drop by after the service.

The services at Good News Chapel, 2151 Lisbon Road, will begin at 10 a.m.; at the Turner Village Church, Main Street, at 10:30 a.m.; and at the Auburn Advent Church at 11 a.m.

Seeds will be available from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 21, at the Share program on Whitney Street behind the Auburn Advent Church.

The third and final step will be sharing a harvest meal together as a community. Those attending the harvest supper at each church can bring a vegetable casserole to the Auburn Advent Church on Oct. 9; Good News Chapel on Oct. 16; and Turner Village Church on Oct. 30.

All are invited to participate in the dinners free. For additional information, call 225-3285.
