Museum opening

WOODSTOCK – The Woodstock Historical Society Museum will open in June and hours will be 1 to 4 p.m. every Saturday. The museum features local memorabilia, antiques and art.

The society will emphasize the decorative arts this year. Four pieces of furniture have been added, including an Empire settee. Rare glass and china are also highlighted along with textiles like quilts and costumes.

Small antiques line shelves and a table upstairs. Musical instruments and jewelry are included. Old photos, tools and books round out the collection.

Everyone is welcome to visit, and society members serve as guides.
