LIVERMORE – The Washburn Norlands Living History Center recently received a $6,000 grant from the Androscoggin County Fund of the Maine Community Foundation to support a marketing campaign.

The grant will allow the Norlands to promote the center and its mission.

The Washburn Norlands was founded in 1974 as the Washburn Family Estate. The Norlands provides programs for school-age children and older from all around Maine.

The Norlands also holds events and festivals throughout the year, including the Maine Humanities Conference in June.
