EL DORADO, Ark. – Paul Clay Palmer, 49, died April 24, at his home in El Dorado, Ark.

Born Jan. 31, 1956, in Natchez, Miss., he was the son of Oscar Tracey Palmer and Christine Ray Palmer.

He worked as a painter for Richard Industrial Painting and was a member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church in El Dorado, Ark.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Crim Palmer of El Dorado, Ark.; seven daughters, Jina Mathis of El Dorado, Ark., Deziree Baugus of Norphlet, Ark., Amanda Vines of El Dorado, Ark., Amy Palmer, Wendy Palmer and Amanda Whitney, all of Farmington, and Molly Chatterton of Portland, Ore.; three brothers, Charles Palmer of Natchez, Miss., John David Palmer of Camden, Ark., and Daniel Palmer of Farmington; a sister, Cheryl Lowery of El Dorado, Ark.; and 11 grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents; and a sister, Sonja Jamison.
