Library program

BRYANT POND – The Whitman Memorial Library will feature Nancy Willard and her program on tai chi at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 12. Tai chi is a total body stretching routine for seniors or anyone. The program is open to the public free.

Installation

PARIS – The Foster Carroll Post and Unit 72 will install newly elected officers at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, at the Foster Carroll Hall. The following officers will be installed: president, Lillian Herrick; first vice president and historian, Marguerite Johnson; second vice president, Elsie Pechnick; secretary-treasurer, Marilyn Ramsay; chaplain, Jean Lamonte; and sergeant-at-arms, Linda Young.

Cleanup day

NORWAY – The annual community cleanup day will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 14. Any groups or individuals are invited to help clean up their communities.

This, said Lesley Dean of the Norway Business Association, is a good time to make plans to participate in the Norway Downtown Revitalization’s Best Foot Forward program.
