AUBURN – Frederick R. Milton, 97, of Seville Park Plaza, Schooner Estates, Auburn, died Sunday, May 8.

He was born July 24, 1907, in Andover, the son of Frederick A. and Agnes (Talbot) Milton.

He was educated in the Andover Schools and attended Hebron Academy. He graduated from Andover High School in 1925.

He married Althea Frances Poor on March 12, 1932. Frederick and his wife worked together for 11 years at Camp Bellevue on Upper Richardson Lake. He faithfully served his country from 1943 to 1945 in the Army Air Corp. during World War II.

He and his wife moved to South Paris on his return from duty in World War II. Frederick worked from the 50s until his retirement in the 70s as a purchasing agent for Paris Manufacturing in South Paris. He and his wife wintered in Florida where he enjoyed playing golf.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Althea Frances Milton; a sister-in-law, Thelma Clark; a sister-in-law, Frances Poor; and a niece Penny Poor.
