LEWISTON – Gipper’s/White Rock began its National Division season with a 20-13 win over Poland Spring. Winning pitcher Mike Harris went 4-4 at the plate along with Randy Dubay, John Golino, Mike Gazza and Dan Martin. All walloped a homer. Jake Gentle collected 4 hits in a losing effort. Pitcher Barry Snyder clouted a round-tripper.

The Lewiston Rec American League schedule has been revised due to Hart Transportation dropping from the circuit. That leaves just 7 clubs for the 2005 season, meaning that one team will now have a bye each week.
